The BOMB has provided direct services to over 500 young people over the past 7 years across neighborhoods in King County and is proud to continue growing this promising practice. We are on our third edition of the B.O.M.B. Personal Safety Care Booklet & Training pamphlet, which we use to educate young people. This is also a beautiful representation of brown/black creativity and art. Many of the images are original art created by our staff and partners. The images are positive depictions of black/brown women and are empowering for girls and women to consume. As teaching tools for our groups and online classes, they contain much needed and relevant information for black/brown girls with special focus on hygiene, sexual trauma education, sexual assault prevention, domestic violence, safety planning, personal identity, self love and relevant neighborhood resources.
